• Matisse and Picasso - a wonderful website and documentary TV special about the two most important artists of the last century, discussing their friendship and rivalry and how they influenced each other. The conversations page and short video clips from the production are great.
• Matisse Picasso at MOMA - A 2003 exhibition at the Museum of Modern art that "tells the compelling story of two artists who, by looking at and learning from one another for nearly half a century, were driven to ever higher levels of accomplishment, and despite their personal differences, were closer in spirit than any other two artists of that time." Includes an online exhibition.
